On 1996's I Feel Alright Steve Earle created a near classic album, employing elements of blues, rock, folk and country into an adventurous album that still sounds fresh. Whether chronicling lost loves on the folksy "Now She's Gone," crazed wild men on the blues rocker "The Unrepentant," or drug abuse on "CCKMP," Earle lends a spotlight to an army of lost souls.
