Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini (born October 21, 1995), known professionally as 'Doja Cat', is a South African-American rapper, singer-songwriter & record producer. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she began making and releasing music on SoundCloud as a teenager. At age 17 she signed a contract with Kemosabe and RCA Records, subsequently releasing her debut EP "Purrr!" in 2014. Following a break from releasing new material and the limited commercial impact of her debut studio album "Amala" in 2018 . Popular albums include "Vie", "Planet Her", "Hot Pink" and "Amala".
