Mr. Forky was singer/songwriter Josh Miesmer's first solo project, with help from producer Kenny Siegal. Under the name Mr. Forky, Josh only released one, 14 track, self-titled album off of Fang Records in 2002.
Josh Miesmer was taught to play blues guitar by Dave Rubin, a well known teacher, author of instructional books, columnist in Guitar Player magazine, and senior editor for Guitar One magazine. Throughout high school, Josh was in a ska/dub band called the Crumb Tynees. .
