The mother of new wave and dream pop, Madeline Goldstein, is a singer-songwriter from Portland, Oregon, based in Los Angeles. Madeline uses her ethereal vocals paired with production by Matia Simovich. During live sets, she performs with guitarist and close friend Margot Rhodes.
Before her work as Madeline, in 2010, from her hometown of Portland, she was apart of an indie synth-pop band known as Fringe Class, disbanded in 2022. Later moving to Los Angeles in 2019 .
