half•Alive is a California-based musical trio formed in 2016. The band consists of lead vocalist Joshua William "Josh" Taylor, drummer Brett Kramer, and bass guitarist J. Tyler Johnson. The band's journey began when Josh Taylor, formerly of the band The Moderates, embarked on a songwriting endeavor after parting ways with his previous group. This led to the creation of their first EP, "3," which was released in April, 2017.
