Anish Kumar is a British DJ and producer from Washington, a small town in Sunderland. Currently based in Cambridge, Kumar weaves Daft Punk-esque house, anthemic breakbeats and moody hip-hop.
Kumar’s distinctive and boundary-pushing sound has continued to turn heads since his inception. 2021 saw the release of “Blackpool Boulevard” on Ninja Tune’s Technicolor imprint, a collaborative effort between Kumar and Barry Can’t Swim, became a surprise underground hit .
