Alice Chater is a British singer, songwriter, and dancer. After graduating from Italia Conti, a meeting with will.i.am led to her signing with Virgin EMI Records in the UK and Capitol Records in the US, she released some singles under the label, debuting her first single "GIRLS X BOYS" under the name "alice" in April 2018. Her second single, "Heartbreak Hotel" followed in July; she returned to using her full name not long after the single’s release to avoid confusion with similarly-named artists. .
