A legendary figure in the hip-hop underground, MF Grimm has been putting in work since the early '90s; he released his debut single, "So Whatcha Want," back in 1993. Though he's faced numerous challenges over his career, he continues to churn out quality music and has amassed an impressive discography that includes indie-rap favorites like The Downfall of Ibliys: A Ghetto Opera, the 12-inch compilation Scars and Memories, and the concept album The Hunt for the Gingerbread Man. He also assembled the supergroup Monsta Island Czars and wrote the very successful graphic novel Sentences: The Life of MF Grimm. On You Only Live Twice, he returns with 13 tracks loaded with big, triumphant production (mostly from Twiz the Beat Pro) and his signature thought-provoking lyricism. Check out "Angels Without Wings," "The Compound," and "I Am King."
