Blondie debuted as a retro-pop group, but their fortunes aligned with the disco movement with the worldwide hit “Heart of Glass” and further hits such as “Call Me,” “The Tide Is High," and “Rapture” that found the group exploring Eurodisco, reggae, and hip-hop, respectively.
