The Potbelleez are an Australian electronic dance music group formed in Sydney in the early 2000s by Irish-born DJs Dave Goode and Jonny Sonic.
Goode and Sonic both moved from Ireland to Australia in the early 2000s and met shortly after arriving in Sydney. Their first performance together took place at Darling Harbour, after which they began performing regularly under the name The Potbelleez.
From 2002 to 2004, they organized and performed at a series of boat and beach parties in Sydney under the banner Beats on and off Shore. .
