The Monsters is a Alternative group from Switzerland, formed on January 1, 1986.

There are more than one band under this name: 1) The Monsters from Bern, Switzerland 2) The Monsters from Zagreb, Croatia (Yugoslavia at the time) 3) The MONSTERS from Tokyo, Japan (see ザ・モンスターズ) 1) The Monsters were formed in 1986 in the small town of Bern, capital of Switzerland. Their sound is a fuzzed out mix between 60s garage punk, wild teenage trash rockabilly and primitive rock ‘n roll. It's 187% no MTV or top 100 shit! .
