The Choir of King's College, Cambridge was set up by King Henry VI who wanted daily services to be sung in the college chapel. The Choir has gone on from these beginnings to have gained an international reputation which has essentially been gained because of their annual performances of The Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols which is broadcast both on the Radio and on Television.
