Reuel grew up in Austin, TX and began studying classical piano at a young age. He went on to compete in national and international piano competitions throughout high school. Reuel finished his classical studies as a senior in high school winning first place at the prestigious Bradshaw & Buono International Piano Competition and performing in the winners recital concert at Carnegie Hall, NY. After graduating, Reuel began using his improvisational abilities to score music for movies. .
