Raven grew up in a rural North Carolina town in the mountains, and relocated to Atlanta in his early 20's. He grew up singing other people's songs, but didn't start playing guitar and writing his own until age 17.
In 2016, he began working with Austin-based producer Christopher Norman to release the 3 track "Cocoon EP." .
