Quanteshia Benjamin (known mononymously as Quanteshia) was born in Edmonton, Alberta Canada on the 11th of June with Jamaican and East Indian descent.
By the age of 15, her first appearance as a songstress was established when she performed at her high school’s talent show. Following suit, Benjamin decided to break out her creative shell by trying out for local talent show '2008 Bounce Showdown'; a musical talent search sponsored by The Bounce 91. .
