Hailing from the Australian city of Brisbane, Ned is a singer songwriter on a life long musical journey which began at the age of 4 when he used to sit beside his Grandfather at the piano. He began writing songs and playing in bands from the age of 17.
From 2000 to 2006, Ned was a member of Shifter - winners of Australian national radio competition 'JJJ Unearthed'. During his time with Shifter, he played support shows for Blondie, Evermore, Eskimo Joe, Grinspoon and The Living End to name a few. .
