Miranda Sex Garden is an experimental gothic rock band formed in London, UK, in 1989, originally active from 1990 to 2000, reformed in 2022. The band initially was an a cappella trio of madrigal singers comprising of Katharine Blake ,Kelly McCusker and Jocelyn West, but expanded both the line-up and the sound to incorporate violins, guitars, keyboards, bass and drums after their first album.
The first album, "Madra", was entirely a cappella, with the songs all based on English renaissance verse. .
