Liquido was a German rock band from Sinsheim. The group became internationally known for the song "Narcotic," which sold around 700,000 copies as a CD single in Germany.
Liquido was formed in 1996 by four friends who had known each other since childhood and attended school together. That same year, the band released the single "Narcotic" on their own label, Seven Music. The idea for the song came from Wolfgang Schrödl, who developed the melody on a Roland D70 synthesizer. .
