He had a friend Steven who ran a record label... wait, it was a cassette label... That was Slabco, and... In the beginning... Land of the Loops would put out several cassettes with Slabco, until Steven became the first employee of Up Records, and convinced friend Chris Takino to put out the Land of the Loops records... It was not a hard sell. .
