Jean-Yves Thibaudet (b. 7 September 1961) is a notable French pianist. He was born in Lyon, France, began studying the piano at the age of five, and made his first public appearance at age seven. From the age of twelve, he studied at the Paris Conservatoire. He has performed at such venues as Carnegie Hall and the Hollywood Bowl. He has appeared with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Orchestre National de France, Cincinnati Symphony .
