Immortal

Immortal is a popular metal group from Norway, formed on January 1, 1991.

There are several artists with this or a similar name: 1. a Norwegian black metal band, 2. a Dutch goth rock band, 3. a rapper. --- 1) Immortal is a black metal band from Bergen, Norway, founded in 1991 by frontman and guitarist Abbath Doom Occulta (Olve Eikemo) and guitarist Demonaz Doom Occulta (Harald Nævdal). The pair worked with various drummers (including Grim, Armagedda and Hellhammer), and were later joined by current drummer Horgh (Reidar Horghagen) in 1996. . Popular albums include "Sons of Northern Darkness", "At the Heart of Winter" and "Pure Holocaust".
