fromis_9 is a k-pop group from South Korea, formed on September 29, 2017.

fromis_9 (Hangul: 프로미스나인; Katakana: プロミスナイン) is a five-member South Korean girl group under ASND. Formed through Mnet's reality survival show Idol School, their group name is an initialism for ‘FROM Idol School’ and the number of original members (originally a 9-member group). Also it stands as a promise to their viewers to be the best girl group. The current members are: Hayoung, Jiwon, Chaeyoung, Nagyung and Jiheon. .
