Drab Majesty is the Los Angeles-based darkwave/dream pop project led by Deb Demure, the androgynous alter-ego of multi-instrumentalist Andrew Clinco. Founded in 2011, Drab Majesty combines reverb-soaked guitars, shimmering synths, commanding yet ethereal vocals, and crisp drum machine beats—crafting what Demure calls “tragic wave,” a unique fusion of classic ’80s new wave, shoegaze, and a futuristic, otherworldly edge. Clinco began Drab Majesty while drumming for Marriages .
