Son Chae-young (Hangul: 손채영; born in April 23, 1999), better known by her mononym CHAEYOUNG (Hangul: 채영), is a South Korean singer, rapper, and songwriter. She is the main rapper and one of the sub vocalists of the girl group TWICE (Hangul: 트와이스).
CHAEYOUNG was born in Seoul, South Korea and is a South Korean by birth. Her real name is Son Chae-young. After a successful audition to JYP Entertainment which took place on June 6, 2012 .
