An "Army Brat" born while his father was stationed in Madison, WI then growing up in Baltimore, Hawaii, DC, San Antonio, Germany, then Illinois where he went to the U of I. A guitar showed up somewhere while in Germany... a Framus 12-string to be exact... and sent the young Bruce Foster down the wandering trail of folk/pop that would evolve into Americana. He found enlightenenment and inspiration from the likes of Eric Anderson, Bob Gibson & Hamilton Camp .
