156/Silence is a chaotic hardcore / metallic hardcore band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States, formed in 2015. The group is known for combining emotionally charged lyricism with dissonant guitar work, volatile tempos, and an experimental approach that blurs the lines between metalcore and hardcore punk. The current lineup features Jack Murray (vocals), Jimmy Howell (guitar), Ryan Wilkinson (guitar), and Kyle O’Connell (drums). Former bassist Lukas Booker was a key member until his passing in March 2025. .
