Australia's Hillsong Live has found that the key to bridging worship music and contemporary pop is great songwriting. Since the late ‘90s, the group has brought hundreds of songs to light. A Beautiful Exchange continues the tradition of Hillsong’s early albums: It’s recorded live (at the Sydney Entertainment Centre), capturing the band at its most inspired. Joined by a choir, the group's epic gestures and echoing, triumphant guitars are fully realized on this collection of contemporary Christian music. Highlights include the tender ballad “The One Who Saves,” the rousing pop-rocker “You,” and the atmospheric “Beautiful Exchange.” This version of the album includes five videos and a digital booklet featuring lyrics and prayers.
